Stuart is a medical doctor turned writer, presenter and educator, with wide experience working on national TV, radio and video media. He has an inspiring personal story as a cancer survivor and holds degrees in medicine, biomedical science and teaching.

Dr Stu is a the food scientist for BBC’s Inside the Factory, and has made appearances on BBC’s MasterChef, The One Show, ITV’s This Morning, Channel 4’s Food Unwrapped and Steph’s Packed Lunch, among others
Technology
In recognition of his pioneering work at Guru Magazine, Stuart is twice finalist for The South West Digital Awards for Individual Contribution to Technology.

Dr Stu has made a variety of local and national radio appearances, podcasts and is the go-to food scientist for many BBC and commercial radio stations.
Research
Dr Stu specialises in food research and has investigated a variety of topics including the science of burger cooking, making cream teas and serving beer, and has worked for Morrisons supermarket, United Biscuits, Encona, Vouchercloud and Ascot Racecourse.
Speaking and Teaching
Dr Stu is a qualified teacher, medical doctor and previous Cambridge University lecturer, who ran ‘The Science of Cooking Day School’ at Madingley College.
